Like a Far Off Memory Empty
PostSubject: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyMon May 16, 2016 5:55 am

Chris had remembered looking off towards the endless seas like he always did. Everything after that though had felt almost like a blur. His scenery had quickly changed to a blackened abyss falling through what felt like the salt waters of destiny islands. Where was he? What happened to the moment he had been standing on the beach? Every moment of the mental questions being asked Chris noticed the scenery of this place growing darker and darker as he continued to fall and fall through the water feeling void. It almost felt like an eternity however until he finally spotted something.

It was a glowing light that looked to be a platform of some kind. Would it lead back to the destiny islands? As he fell closer and closer towards the glowing platform he noticed that it seemed to be made of stained glass with a picture of himself with little circles of other people he couldn't make out who. He had never seen the people in those circles before. As he neared towards the glass platform he closed his eyes as he braced for the worse to come and to fall through the glass to his death. Only it was to never come.

Chris opened his eyes to see himself landing perfect gracefully on the ground of the glass. He didn't feel any pain even from the fall. It was almost like he had floated here. He still couldn't help but look around at his situation. Where was he even? What was this place. He honestly was feeling a bit afraid. Everything he had been so used to was just gone and replaced with this darkness and he couldn't help but wonder where he was. How would he get out of this place? Was it even possible to or was he trapped here forever and for why? Why was he even here?

He tried to yell out for help but found now words to come but rather thoughts projecting before they could come out of his mouth even. He was growing more and more disgheaved by this place as he waited and waited for something to happen. Something maybe around here to explain where he was and why. Where were his friends? Where was his home was more what meant. He felt his heart beating so fast as he wondered these questions in slight fear of what was to come. He could only think though of more of his home and his anxiety of wanting to be back there.

A soothing voice would come from the endless void, but rather than actual words, Chris would hear thoughts projected into his mind as he touched down on the stained glass platform.

"Fear not, dear hero. You have been chosen.. Chosen to awaken your true potential."

"As you may know, everyone has some degree of darkness inside their hearts. But you.. You are pure. And that is why you have been chosen to be one of the many that will strike out against the darkness that threatens to spread across the worlds."

One after another, three altars would rise up out of the glass platform. The one to the left was a sword.. A symbol of strength. The power to strike down even the mightiest foes with so much as a single blow. The one in front of Chris was a shield.. A symbol of willpower. The courage to protect one's friends without once faltering. And finally, the one to the right was a staff. A symbol of wisdom. The power to aid ones friends in their greatest times of need, be it through great strength of an unmatched level of support.

The voice would grow silent, waiting for the young boy to make his choice. He had been the youngest to come to this place, so far.. But age meant nothing to the Timeless Key.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyMon May 16, 2016 3:59 pm

Chris still found himself trying to adjust to his place as he heard a voice in his thoughts that did not belong to his own. He began to instinctively look around even trying to locate the voice but he couldn't identify even what gender the voice belonged to as it sound so mysteriously soothing. He really couldn't hope but wonder where it was coming from and who it was. Either way though it was indeed quite soothing and he found himself at peace listening to it. It was soothing in a way as he listened to the voice speak. Telling him not to be afraid.

What was his true potential? What did it mean that he had a pure heart? What was it for a heart to be devoid of darkness? How did it make him chosen for this duty? The next words to be said by the voice suprised him the most. A darkness was spreading across the worlds and he was going to have to help stop it? What did this all mean? Wait multiple worlds! So the stories were true after all but what if this was all just a dream? It felt so much like a memory though that he couldn't place it where exactly.

He felt the ground shake however as the three totems began to rise out of the ground. One with but a sword floating on top of it, one with a shield to float upon another, and a staff to float over the last. Chris looked at each one of the items. He had practice with sword before and it could help greatly with his swifter attacks. He could use such strength to help keep his foes from his friends. The shield just wasn't built for him. His body was too slim and wasn't built as much as a defensive wall. The staff though he questioned as well with his limited abilities at magic. He couldn't decide though until he closed his eyes and reached out with his heart.

Out he pulled the handle of something he couldn't tell and once he opened his eyes he saw the blade that now was in his grasp. The blade felt surprisingly light and just holding it made him feel stronger. Who were the others though he wondered. Who were the others that had also been chosen by this voice or was it really all a dream? If it was why did everything feel so real? He had so many questions but yet so little answers.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyMon May 16, 2016 4:17 pm

The Kingdom Key knew of the confusion Chris felt. Most were like this when they dived into their heart.. It was completely understandable. It was completely natural for the weapon Chris had chosen to feel perfect in his hands. It was a clear indication he had chosen the path that had been meant for him. "The heart of a warrior.. Strong and unwavering. An admirable path, for sure."

"The answers will become clear to you in due time, chosen one. I cannot give you straight answers- I can only give you advice. However, I implore you to show no fear. If you give in to your fear, you will surely fall into the darkness that is consuming the light. To do the important job set before you, you must learn to leap into battle fearlessly. First, though.. I would like for you to answer some questions."

With that, a door way would appear across the platform from Chris, and near it was a small little treasure chest looking box with a big yellow star on it. There was a keyhole, but it would be safe to assume that it was not locked.

"You may need this. It will not leave with you, so it would be wiser to use it for the time that I have you."

Like a Far Off Memory Empty
PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyMon May 16, 2016 5:06 pm

He supposed that maybe even if this entire thing was some kind of weird dream he supposed he could at least enjoy it to its fullest until he woke up. That was his only option after all right now as he really didn't feel himself waking up any time soon. Grasping the sword and sliding it onto handle on the back of his jacket. He listened further to the voice once more. There was no other option as he just needed to keep following it through. He did like the weight of the blade though and how light it did feel.

He didn't like the fact that he couldn't have any answers to his question but there really was nothing he could do beside listen to the advice it had given so far. It even suggested that he control his fear lest he wished to fall into darkness like the other worlds. He was afraid of falling into such darkness but it it meant helping others he was willing to jump right into it if he had to if it was to help others. That was when it mentioned that it would want him to answer some questions first. He didn't feel any distrust in that so he supposed there wouldn't be any harm than going this much further.

Approaching towards the box that seemingly appeared out of nowhere he couldn't help but wonder what was inside it. It looked like there was a lock on it but still yet he questioned whether it was safe or if it was locked even as well. Reaching forwards he began to attempt to open it ever so slowly to see what was inside. The mystery of it eating him up inside as he looked to see just what this voice was giving him.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyMon May 16, 2016 6:18 pm

Within the small chest was a glass bottle full of green liquid. Judging from the little yellow star on the stained, slightly greenish glass, it was meant to be some sort of healing potion.

( One Use Only! Training Potion: Restores Willpower to full, and it will not leave the awakening thread with you. )

"Good, good.. You'll most likely come across items such as this once you get out of here. This miraculous little concoction will prove quite useful to you, I'm sure. You're likely going to need it either after or during your tests."

The only thing left to do from there was to proceed through the set of double doors that had appeared earlier at the same time as the chest. These doors would simply lead to another stained glass platform.. However this one would have a different design on it and be a little bigger.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyMon May 16, 2016 7:13 pm

Chris looked at the inside of the chest with wonder as he spotted the bottle. Turning it over in his hand he looked over it seeing for what all he could gain from examining it. The star on it though along with the green liquid reminded him of some medicine his parents gave him long ago when he had gotten sick. Was this some kind of healing potion possibly? Why was he going to need a healing potion? Did that mean there might actually be some true danger after these questions to come? As soon as he finished these questions he was going to need to put up his guard lest he forget.

He was worried a bit though of what was to come ahead and he wouldn't deny that even with that soothing voice he still held quite a bit of fear within of what he was to fight. He knew he shouldn't let himself feel this fear but he couldn't help but worry of it. This darkness that was supposedly spreading across worlds. If this all was truly happening right now while he was in this dream...was it heading for his home? Was it going to hurt his friends? Was it going to destroy the place he called home?

There was nothing more he could say or think as he looked at the doors in front of him. His fear seemingly vanished at the thought of this truly being real. He walked right towards the doors letting out a breath as he pushed them open and walked in. He looked at the similar room to the previous but this one seemed so much bigger than the last. In fact the design was different of the glass now as well. The glass seemingly covered in pure white but yet at the edges there were bits of black glass that seemingly were reaching towards the light. This design was indeed interesting at least to his thought.

Like a Far Off Memory Empty
PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyTue May 17, 2016 5:32 am

Three people awaited his arrival as he stepped through the door. Each one meant to represent someone important to Chris.. Someone from his past, present.. perhaps even his future? The door dissapeared after closing behind Chris.

"Do not rush things, chosen hero. This place is special.. Frozen in time. You could spend an eternity here and not a second would pass in the real world. The darkness may be approaching your homeworld, but the speed at which it comes is uncertain even to me. However, it isn't going to be going anywhere until we are done here."

The key wished to reassure the young boy. But at the same time, even the key was unsure. The rate at which the darkness moved was simply unpredictable. As of recent it may have moved extremely quickly, but who knows? Could it have slowed down? Could it have even sped up? Either way, Chris would need to be ready to face against the oncoming tidal wave of shadow.

"What is it you want most in life?" The first figure would ask. Their mouth unmoving, simply projecting thoughts into Chris's mind.

"What is your greatest fear?" The second would ask. Mouth just as unmoving as the first.

"What is most important to you?" The third and final one would ask.

Clearly, this was some sort of test.. But on top of being a test, the key was honestly curious.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyTue May 17, 2016 7:21 am

Chris listened as the voice warned him to not rush things. However the very next part shocked him for a real shock. This place was frozen in time? Than that meant...this wasn't a dream. This really was happening.  That explained why everything felt like it was so real. It was because this really was happening. Now that was actually a bit scary knowing these threats actually did exist. Was that why the voice told him to not rush? If so than he just had to calm down. He just need to keep his calm. Taking a few breathers seemed to do t as he found himself calming down.

He looked up at three figure. One who was supposed to be dead, one who he saw everyday, and one he had never met before but her face matched the picture he had seen in the first room inside one of those circles. Her brown hair the thing that truly made him notice that she looked exactly like the picture. He began to approach the first one, his father, as he asked him the question of what it was he wanted most out of life. He found himself able to speak again now. "I want to be able to visit other worlds and try to make as many friends as I can." He would say in the first answer as his father just nodded. It felt so weird talking to someone who had died at sea..especially his dad.

He began to approach the second one, his mother as she began to ask her question of what was his greatest fear. He found hat one hard at first trying to think of what it was before he realized what his heart truly feared. "I'm afraid that if I make a descision it might get my own friends hurt by my own actions, I'm scare that my friends will get hurt because of me." He would answer as he tried to hug the questionnaire that was his mother before moving on to the mysterious girl. She began to ask the final question as well of what is most important to him. He quickly began to answer with the thing he always believed in. "The most important thing to me is helping my friends and others whenever they need help and that's never going to change." Chris would say strongly for that one as he walked back to the center of the glass. He only began to wait for what the voice would tell him next. He remembered what the voice said before however and moved his hand back to get a good grasp of the sword in case he needed to pull it out.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyTue May 17, 2016 10:59 am

"You wish to create more bonds, but are afraid of damaging them either yourself or allowing something else to.. That certainly sounds like it could become troublesome later on, don't you think? Having more friends means more for you to defend against." If this created some sense of unsureness within Chris, it was fully intentional for what the key would say next.

"Do not let anything or anyone doubt you, though. If you believe in yourself, and your friends stand by you, everything will work out fine. There may be a hurdle or two, but you will always come out on top if you remember who your friends are at all times." Too much was being said.. But this was more advice, and less answers to all the universe's questions."

"So all in all, you aim to make as many friends as possible. On top of that you aim to defend them from all that may harm them, and even help them to perhaps even defend themselves. If it is as you say, you will never give up or falter.." The voice would pause for a solid minute before the figures Chris saw would become completely black.

The Kingdom Key wanted Chris to understand what could happen if he were to fail. A harsh way to show it to him, sure.. But hopefully it would prove to be the most effective. "The battle against darkness is about more than just sheer willpower.. When I say you must leap into the battle against darkness without fear, I almost mean it literally."

The darkened silhouettes would sink into the floor for a moment before springing back up as a group of 3 Shadows.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyTue May 17, 2016 12:06 pm

Chris couldn't believe what he was hearing from the voice. Every fiber of his being disagreed with what it said. "Even if it's troublesome later on I don't care. I make friends for a reason and that's the same reason they become friends with me. I won't give up on them. Even if it's more to defend against we are stronger together than we would ever be separate!" Chris would say as he looked around trying to spot this voice to no odds. He couldn't spot it but he wouldn't give up on any friends like that. He didn't expect what was next to be said.

The voice began to agree with what he had said that as long as he believed in himself. Strangely that just made him feel all the better in honesty. "I will never forget my friends." Chris would say to the very last statement as he looked at the three he had saw. Only to see them change to black before disappearing completely and being replaced with these weird looking creatures. He was more confused by them than fearful. What had happened to his mom and dad? The girl as well...they had became these things.

When the voice spoke he finally understood this was the darkness that he had to fight. They were still the same beings but the things that made them who they were, their heart was gone. This wasn't his friends or family any longer.

The voice would remain silent. The key wanted Chris to concentrate on fighting.. These three were only the first of the bunch.

The heartless hit by Chris's technique would recoil hard. The blade cutting into its shadowy flesh like butter.. However, it was not quite dead and there were still two heartless charging at him. They would strike out with sharp claws in a vicious, animalistic matter. All they could think about was slaying Chris and stealing his heart.

Heartless 1, 75 Willpower left and charging a melee strike for 10% next turn!

Heartless 2 and 3, 250 Willpower, attacking for 5% of Potential (75 Total!)

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyTue May 17, 2016 9:07 pm

Chris could only smile a bit as his attack sliced at the darkness and his sword began to bounce back. However as soon as he got a grasp on the blade he had thrown. He could only feel a sharp pain on his side as he was jumped by the other two creatures of darkness. It had hurt quite a bit but he could still stand. It wasn't the end of the world and he could still fight this through. He wasn't going to lose to the darkness. There was one thing for sure now though. This was definitely not a dream.

Chris grabbed onto his blade as he looked at his opponents. He had done quite a bit of damage to the first shadow. The other two could be handled as well but he was going to have to tank quite a few hits from the other two. While it would hurt it wouldn't be anything he could heal from later. After all he needed to beat all of these shadows and right now that was going to require being able to beat them first with a bit of strategy first. He had a plan after all if he could plan this right that was.

It was time to put his plan into action. Focusing on the fire burning through his heart he began to create a spiral of fire around him before launching it right at the heartless he had attacked earlier. He was hoping to burn through it this time and destroy it to release the darkness that had been kept as a physical form. He knew he would be left open to attacks by the other two now but at least with one down hopefully he would be able to defeat the others easier than before. That was why this entire plan had to go perfect. If he messed up even once it was possible he would be putting his own life heavily on a line.

The heartless would explode in a flurry of black smoke and purple particles as the fireball connected with it and utterly destroyed it. When the first heartless died, what looked like a big pink heart would escape from it and soar up into the air only to eventually dissapear as it went out of sight. The other two would persist in their violent assault, attempting to claw and tear away at Chris.

"You will feel much pain in your journey. Both emotional and physical.. But if you let the light guide you, you can withstand anything." The voice reassured as the fight went on.

Heartless 1 has been slain, thus interrupting its charged melee!

Chris could only let out a quick but light smile as he watched his fire ball hit dead on against the shadow. He watched in wonder for a bit as it disappeared into a puff of black and purple smoke and what looked like a heart flew into the air. He supposed it really was heartless now wasn't it. He wondered though if that heart was going to head back to its original owner now though? Maybe he really could help out more than he thought. He didn't know why but beating this darkness felt good sort of. If felt like he was actually helping.

That was the moment he heard the voice once more right as he was being attacked. Their claws did hurt but if this voice was right than  he would only be feeling more of this pain later on. That was what worried him quite a bit heavily. Not fearful no but rather worried of the possibility that he would be truly facing near death eventually. It didn't matter though as long as he followed the light and didn't break off he could win this. He just needed to tough out a few more hits. That was all he needed to do to survive this experience!

Grabbing the dream sword he launched all of his speed into a dash past the shadow. Holding his sword out as well to do quite a bit of damage as well hopefully to the second shadow. He wasn't positive on his success but frankly he had to at least try and defeat this thing! Both of these shadows he would stop and he would free the hearts they had trapped in them. He wouldn't let them attack his home, attack his friends. No he would free them all from this darkness as long as it continued to attack.

Launched [SK-1]Sonic Blade at Heartless 2, 175 Potential.

These Shadows were very clearly not the brightest bulbs in the socket. They attacked without thinking.. only viciously clawing and striking out. They didn't even have the strength to make up for the lack of smarts.

As Chris dashed through the second heartless and passed the third, the third would immediately lunge at him and strike out as his back was turned and the second would recoil hard. Taking a moment to regain itself before turning and striking out as well.

Heartless 2 has only 75 Health

Heartless 3 still has 250

Both are striking Chris with basic melee for 5% damage totalling up to 75

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyWed May 25, 2016 12:37 pm

Chris's body was hurting from this pain but he just wouldn't give up. He had freed one of the hearts already from these things and he wanted to...no he needed to help free them from this darkness! He wasnt planning on giving up now. He could tough out the pain a little longer. There was only two left after all and he could still pull through. He wouldn't give up on them like they would never give up on him. He just had to do this right. He couldn't let his fear keep holding him back.

He looked one more time at the two heartless. If he could just take one more out the damage he would be suffering would at least be a lot easier to handle than now. He would just have to make sure to take out the one he had already injured before first for a better chance of success. The question he supposed now was what choice of move should he do then for now? He could toss his blade again at them and hope for the best but his hopes dwindled on that line of it it would work. He supposed he had no other option.

Chris took to the offensive once more as eh locked on to the heartless he had attacked earlier. It was an easy shot. He had a good chance of hitting his target. With a quick breath he grasped his blade once more and attempted to launch it with an impressive force right at the heartless. The blade would than upon hitting bounce back right towards chris once more but not without the hopes of which that he and that this shadow would be defeated and the heart within it freed from such a darkness, such a life.

Despite it's greatest efforts to resist, his attack was too fast for the second heartless, cutting it down with a mighty clang from the blade, it's body dissipating into the void above. The third heartless stepped back and seemed to stare him down, ready to sate it's one mindless goal, to consume him into the darkness, it would not stop, even after witnessing the others fall to his mighty blade.

It suddenly lept out at him! It's claws outstretched to strike.

Chris was more than excited to have defeated the second heartless but he still knew this fight was far from over. Frankly he even expected that this was going to be even hard from now on. He just had no way of knowing how much harder it was going to get in fact. He still just had to stand strong though. If he could just manage to do that than there really would be no worries as long as he kept that hope up high. If he lost it though...than that would put everything he had worked to accomplish to just a complete waste of effort.

That was why he couldn't fail this time. In fact he had to do everything he could to not fall now. He needed to give it his all. If he could deliver a hefty enough force just maybe he could Avoid any more damage to come. For now though it would be too late. His sword was bouncing back way too slowly and the heartless was leaping at him even harder now. He could definitely tell as well because of how for sure he was that it hurt. He could feel the claw marks scratching at him seemingly not leaving marks but more like a phantom pain. A pain that was there and existed but couldn't be seen.

Now was his moment. As his blade came back to his side and with the heartless so close to him he had to try and stun the little bugger! "Fire! He would only shout as Chris would launch the blast of flame right towards the heartless. He could feel the pain from the previous blow and his own fear growing slightly. He could still fight though. He wasn't done yet and he didn't plan for this fight to end on a loss for him. After all..if he gave up..than what would be the point of putting all he could to help his friends and family? What good would it be to let them suffer? THe answer was that there was no good reason for that. There was no way that was acceptable.

The heartless seemed so relentless, yet as soon as the fire impacted, it not only burned the creature, but stopped it in it's tracks, it could not move, not even wince from the attack after it hit it's mark. It seemed Chris now had a full opportunity to finish his opponent without retaliation. Indeed the strange little shadow was wounded, though it showed no markings, no gashes or cuts, nor even bruising, it just merely WAS itself.

Chris was more than excite as he got his one chance for a true break. The moment the words of fire had left his mouth and he had watched them burn at his opponent the hint of a smirk couldn't be wiped off especially with the heartless now sitting there stunned almost it seemed from the attack that had hit upon it. This was all good indeed for it meant that his chance to end this was more than nigh! All he had to do now was free this last heart and he would be more than free to return to the sacred place he knew no better than to label as home.

With his dream blade shining ever so brightly he rushed at the heartless once more. He was ending this once and for all. Whether he had to fight a thousand or just this one. These heartless had been torturous to the hearts that they kept captive inside them. The ones begging to be freed from this ever lasting darkness that kept them locked inside these shadowy husk of creatures. His eyes revealing ever so more of the darkness soon to be extinguished in front of him. He promised the voice he would keep all of his friends safe and he had guaranteed not to break that promise. The voice had told him that he wouldn't be able to handle it and that was where he would prove it wrong.

Chris felt the cool silver metal of his blade gracing through the shadowy being with his ferocious attack. THis fight was going to end now whether this voice wanted it to or not. He was done playing these games and if someone he knew was truly hurt than he wanted to do what he could to help them before it was too late. Even though the voice claimed time didn't pass here emotion would beat all of that away. He wasn't going to let them down. Got it memorized? Good.

The heartless, unable to move was easily destroyed, it's body vanished and once more a small heart floated away into the void above. It seemed all over as all became quiet, even the voice was silent, he was victorious, he had freed the dark beings from their prison... And yet, something was off. It was clear there was something missing.

What that was soon became clear, the void around the platform began to form a massive dark shadow on the floor ahead of him, and from it rose a great beast whose torso had a massive heart shaped hole in it. It glared down at him with it's gleaming yellow eyes, clearly intent on consuming him into the darkness it was made from. Yet he was not alone, the voice spoke once more, a light shining in from above.

"You will face great odds, untamable beasts, but you are one of light, the darkness will always fall to you, no matter what the odds are, do not surrender to them." With this, the beast lurched forward, staring at him further, seemingly watching him for now, clearly intent on attacking him should he move.

Chris felt every tension in the muscle of his body beginning to relax as the pink heart floated to the sky. He was more than excited about it, more than ethusiatic even. He just fel pure pride and joy from such a feat. He had vanquished the darkness and freed the hearts. There was no doubt though that there was even more darkness out there but right now he couldn't care less. One small thing at a time would work for now and ever small task completed only led closer to helping cleanse the darkness and freeing the hearts trapped in them.

Something still didn't feel right though. It was almost took quiet. He had done what the voice had wanted so why was it quiet? Unless...this wasn't over yet. He quickly got his blade back out circling his sight trying to find where the next creature could come from. At least that was until the very ground below him started to shake. Quickly falling to his knees he watched as the darkness formed into a massive creature. He felt sincere dread and fear at the sight of such a massive creature. It had a hole in its chest with the shape of a heart. The only way this thing was alive seemed like pure magic about.

That was the moment he quickly realized the grave threat he was facing right now. He needed to stun this creature like he had with earlier heartless but the question was. Was he strong enough to do it? If he failed than this attack was going to hurt a lot...wait he still had that potion from earlier. He just needed to save it for when the time was right. That was all he could do in truth. "I guess it's time to try a new spell! Haven't tried this one yet but please light, give me the strength to beat this shadow creature and free the heart trapped within! Aero!" Chris would shout as he summoned the wind around him to slam towards the creature and keep him stunned long enough hopefully for his next attack.

The beast before him raised one arm high in the air, though as it prepared to drop it's fist into the platform below, the wind spell hit it's mark, and the Darkside was brought into a stun, however, unlike the last heartless, this one visibly struggled against the stunning powers, clearly trying it's best to break free, though...It did still appear to work, just barely, but enough he could get off another attack before the massive shade could retaliate. Now was his chance!

The wind spell did a good amount of damage of course, but even while stunned, it appeared to still be standing, he was going to have to hurry and defeat it before it could manage to put out too much damage against him.

PostSubject: Re: Like a Far Off Memory   Like a Far Off Memory EmptyWed Jun 01, 2016 1:05 am

Chris would start to begin to groan form his mass use of mana in this fight. It had been tough to expert enough wind to keep that thing stunned and even then it had barely been enough. The next time might not be as lucky and he could only hope that whatever it was would be successful. This was his chance to end this fight though. Maybe not in this strike but in the next one for sure. He just had to see if he could keep it stunned long enough. If he could possibly pick up another stun on this creature than just maybe he could win this without taking even a single bit more of damage to his body.

Chris jumped in a attempt to land on top of the heartless with his blade in his hand while the other was being used to keep a grip on this creature. Swinging his blade back as far as he could he kept his hope continued up for the very hope of being able to stun this creature again. This time however hopefully from sheer pain. Afterall what better entry point than the head in which that controls it all right? Of course there were the issues that if this didn't work he was going to have a rather painful fall back down to the ground. This was something he just had to leave up to fate and luck to decide whether it would work or not.

He wouldn't know though if he didn't at least try! This fight was his and the monster knew it so as well! That was why it struggled because it knew he would have a chance to beat it now! The light will truly guide him to this victory and hopefully out of this dream. To see his mom again..that was what he wanted now.
